Technocampus EMC²

A platform of excellence at the region’s initiative

Official inauguration on 21 September 2009 in Nantes-Bouguenais

With the creation of Technocampus EMC2, the Pays de la Loire Region and its partners (Airbus, EADS IW and Cetim) are providing companies and researchers with a real tool for excellence. A research and technology platform, Technocampus EMC2 focuses on composite materials and the processes involved in putting them to use.

The site is home to 300 employees, a Cetim composites centre of excellence, industrial space with manufacturing equipment and and an area reserved for training. With this infrastructure, companies can produce full-size parts and functional prototypes before moving on to the industrial production of parts for naval, aeronautical and automotive construction.

This regional innovation platform meets the needs of manufacturing sectors, SMEs and competitiveness clusters, such as Pôles EMC2, Génie Civil Ecoconstruction, IDforCAR - formerly High-End Automotive. Our partner companies are borrowing Technocampus EMC2’s skills and equipment to carry out their R&D and product development projects.
